I finally broke down and upgraded my phone.  It has a fantastic camera with a good telephoto lens and an "erase" function.  To remove something from the picture, you merely click on the item you want to remove and then choose the  "erase" function.  Two - actually, three - clicks and you're done.  In the zinnia picture below, I used it to remove a dead rhubarb leaf from the lower left corner.



Pretty cool.
